Why boys won't watch movies with me...

  2. Kind of... at least the first part of this is true. But the more guys I talk to about this situation, the more it turns out that boys are bigger babies with chick flicks than I expected. I NEVER cry during movies for some reason, Braveheart is my only exception.

  3. But let's put it this way, one of us prefers chick-flicks more than the other. And if you know me well enough, you'd know that the chick-flicks are second-tier to my horror, sci-fi, drama and action flicks. And the only movies I come close to crying are generally the more action-packed/drama films. For instance: Braveheart, The Patriot, Warrior... those are three movies I choke up to every time I watch them.

  4. Aren't you crying or moved when a life is lost, love is lost, or someone like wallace gives up his life for his strong convictions? Your a softy just in a dramatic way :)

  5. Yeah, that's the point of my comic. I cry every time William dies... EVERY... TIME =(

And then when little Charlotte yells, "Papa!" for the first time to Mel Gibson when he's leaving to war again in The Patriot.

And then at the end of Warrior when Nick Nolte's character watches both of his sons embracing in an emotional battle after years of familial dissonance.

Ughh... don't get me going, I might start choking...

  6. I just don't cry during the sappy romantic movies. Just can't do it.
